From its inception, the United Daughters of the Confederacy has been active in benevolent activities; whether donating time or money, UDC Chapters have helped numerous organizations.  Organizations that have benefited over the years yield a myriad of programs.  From the Red Cross, to Randolph Relief, to historic preservation of local landmarks and national treasures, from the Veterans Administration, to active duty military units.  We Daughters truly believe that it is better to give, than to receive.

On the local, state and national levels, Daughters work with numerous civic organizations including homeless shelters, homes for battered women and children, hospital associations, and food banks.
